In March, members of the Privacy Engineering Research Group gave a practical workshop at the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Valladolid.
The aim of this workshop was to teach attendees how to protect privacy on their mobile devices. Along with this, participants learned how to configure app permissions, detect and limit unnecessary access to personal data, understand the risks of certain apps and adopt safer digital habits.
The session was well received and was a practical experience in which attendees were able to apply real and effective measures on their digital devices.
