On April 11th we received at the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Valladolid high school students from I.E.S Guardo.
Our collaborators Marta Urueña Valle, Alberto Ceinos Rodríguez and Teresa Jiménez del Bosque, together with Génesis De León Alcántara from the Privacy Engineering Research Group, gave a practical workshop on digital privacy.
During the session they explained the importance of protecting privacy on mobile devices. In addition, students learned about the App-PI Project, explored how apps access their data, and through a game with clues, discovered practical ways to protect their personal information in a fun and educational way.
The experience was very well received by the students who enjoyed the workshop in a participatory way.
