Last Saturday, 21st June, the Graduation Ceremony of the Graduation Class 2025 of the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Valladolid was held at the Palacio de Congresos Conde Ansúrez.
At this ceremony, our colleague Alejandro Pérez de la Fuente, winner of the Extraordinary Award in the Master’s Degree in Business Intelligence and Big Data in Secure Environments (academic year 2023-2024), gave a beautiful speech in which he highlighted the excellent work done by his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree teachers, and expressed his sincere thanks for the support received from his family and friends. He recalled that this award is not only an individual achievement, but the result of the sum of people and hands that have accompanied and supported him along the way.
In addition, among the graduates are students of our School and collaborators of the Privacy Engineering Group (IngPriv), who will contribute with their projects to the advancement of privacy and security in mobile applications. Among them:
- Teresa Jiménez del Bosque: Auditing a mobile app applying the OWASP methodology.
- Juan Alfonso Velasco Cabrero: Automation of mobile app analysis tasks using the MOBSF tool.
- Javier García González: APKAudit: a tool for auditing the transparency of mobile applications when they inform their users.
- Alejandra Gabino Díaz: Ontology for the systematisation of knowledge on Data Security in Google Play.
