Our Privacy Engineering Research Group participated last December in the Tierra de Pinares Science Week by giving a practical workshop for mobile device users in Aldeamayor de San Martín. The objective was to help them understand and protect their privacy when using applications.
Mercedes Martínez and Alejandro Pérez de la Fuente together with a group of collaborators, students of the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Valladolid, gave the guidelines to follow to protect the privacy of users when using mobile devices. In addition, they showed the APK Falcon tool, on which the IngPriv Research Group is working, with which the impact of mobile applications on the privacy and security of your data can be evaluated.
