Mónica Casas Domínguez

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Valladolid, studied through the STEM Women UVA-Santander Iberoamerica+Asia Program scholarship. Currently a PhD student in the Health Sciences Research program at the same university, with a specialized focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the field of health.

I was part of the Telemedicine and eHealth Research Group (GTe) at the University of Valladolid, where I collaborated in the European Project E+DIETing_LAB, funded by Erasmus+, focused on the development of innovative digital tools for practical teaching in dietetics, such as an AI-based virtual patient and an interactive virtual clinic.

Currently, researcher in training at the Privacy Engineering Research Group (INGPRIV) of the University of Valladolid, participating in the Strategic Cybersecurity Project “App-PI (App Privacy Impact)”, funded by INCIBE with PRTR and Next Generation EU funds, where I collaborate in the maintenance of the backend of the system.
