Workshop for students of 3rd and 4th of E.S.O. at Las Huelgas College

We train young people in digital privacy.

From the Privacy Engineering Research Group of the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Valladolid, we work to raise awareness about the importance of personal data protection. Last January we gave a practical workshop at Las Huelgas School (Valladolid) for 54 students of 3rd and 4th ESO.

What did they learn?

-What is personal data and why it is important to protect it.

-How to review the permissions of apps and manage them from the device settings.

-Through a fun Kahoot, our collaborators Juan Alfonso Velasco Cabrero, Teresa Jiménez del Bosque, Marta Urueña Valle and Alberto Ceinos Rodríguez helped to reinforce these concepts in a dynamic and interactive way.

Thanks to Colegio Las Huelgas for their welcome!

And we are still working on new workshops.
